But Russia now lives in the Einsteinian definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a better result. Russia is now the Blackberry of the empire building business and the American alliance network model and the EU shared sovereignty model are the iPhone. Putin calling for dialogue "on equal terms" is geopolitical and strategic idiocy. Send him to The Hague and his successor (metaphorically) to Zaandam.
Russia’s only route out of Einsteinian insanity is complete deimperialization--no capacity or interest in ruling over the peoples it has subjugated and whose commodity exports it has controlled from Moscow.
