The analogy is absolutely applicable since I got it from Putin:

"Putin in press conference (February 8, 2022) and in official remarks (February 21, 2022) – An Independent Legal Analysis of the Russian Federation’s Breaches of the Genocide Convention in Ukraine and the Duty to Prevent – Newlines Institute for Strategy and Policy

“‘Like it or not, take it, my beauty’” references a “vulgar Russian rhyme about necrophiliac rape, implying an intention to inflict similar destruction on Ukraine and a view of Ukraine as a corpse.”

"Try expanding your horizons": I speak eight languages, have lived in five countries outside the US, been an entrepreneur in advertising, real estate in Latvia, am an angel investor in ten startups (empirically verifying their high failure rate), been an historian digging in Spanish archives and interviewing Spanish Civil War veterans for two years, and taught entrepreneurship and investments in seven universities in five European countries. I have more horizons than you'll reach in five lifetimes.

Expanding my horizons to include anyone who defends Putin and chemical bomber Assad is a waste of time: Aaron Mate's Wikipedia page: "Maté works as reporter for The Grayzone, a fringe far-left news website and blog known for sympathetic coverage of the Russian and Syrian governments."

Two days ago the Russian govt just reiterated its refusal to talk to Zelenskiy directly. So where's the counterparty for negotiations?

Here's what Peskov and Lavrov the Liar, who called Zelenskiy a Jewish Nazi and said Hitler was part Jewish, said about negotiations on 23/12:

"Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Thursday rejected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's "peace formula" as a basis for talks, outlining three conditions that Moscow will not accept. "It is obvious that Kyiv is not ready for dialogue," Lavrov was quoted as saying by Russia's state-run news agency RIA Novosti.

"Putting forward all sorts of ideas and 'formulas of peace,' Zelensky cherishes the illusion of achieving, with the help of the West, the withdrawal of our troops from the Russian territory of Donbas, Crimea, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson region, the payment of reparations by Russia, and the surrender of international tribunals and the like."

"Of course, we will not talk to anyone on such conditions," Lavrov added. But Russia has asserted that Ukraine must accept the September annexation of four of its regions—Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia—following sham referendums called by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

There can be no peace plan "that does not take into account today's realities regarding Russian territory, with the entry of four regions into Russia," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

"No plan that does not take into account these realities can claim to be peaceful," he added.

You deny this simple equation:

Supporting less aid to Ukraine = more dead Ukrainians, which = support for the genocidal mass grave diggers of Bucha, Irpin, Izyum and Mariupol and the bombers of Dnipro apt buildings with anti-ship missiles designed to sink aircraft carriers, the bombers of the Mariupol theater filled with children and the forced adoption of 11000 Ukrainian children.

Your horizons expanded to Aaron Mate = support for the chemical bomber Assad.
