This latest war opens a power vacuum by degrading Hamas' capability in at least the short to medium term. If the UAE, the Saudis, Egyptians, Bahrainis and Turks decide enough is enough, they might intervene diplomatically, financially and, possibly, with a peacekeeping force in Gaza once Israel pulls back, to eradicate Hamas. After the Abraham Accords the Bahrainis and Emiratis revamped their media and educational systems as part of normalizing relations.

Nothing less will work.
