The demography of the 9 tribes is shifting rapidly. The fastest growing religious group is "none". As a secularist--been an atheist all my life and thank god for that--I view this as an unalloyed good. But the problem is that the theocrats of the faith and flag fascist kind see the country slipping away from them, hence the Jan 6 coup combining crosses and gallows. The idea that people like this have anything good to add to the debate is absurd.
