Ask this simple question about Gaza vs other wars with mass civilian casualties: would the victims' surrender to those killing them stop or accelerate the killing? In comparing Gaza to Rwanda in 1994, Srebrenica and Gorazde, Bosnia in 1995 and Warsaw 1943 the question answers itself. If Hamas surrendered the war and the killing would end tomorrow. If genocide were Israel's aim, Gaza would have been a scorched lifeless desert within 1-2 weeks after Hamas' and its opportunistic plundering Gazan civilian collaborators orgy of rape, genital mutilation, torture and burning that burnt alive Vivian Silver, the lefty peacenik kibbutznik leader of Women Wage Peace.
