Last time I looked North Korea was north of South Korea. Why you grant it membership in the "Global South" is a mystery to me.

Similarly, Moscow is one of the most northerly capitals on earth. How it's part of the "Global South" is also a mystery.

I guess in your geography Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Falklands are no longer south of the equator. I'd appreciate seeing your map of the mythical "Global South".

Last I heard the southerly New Zealanders liked global corporate Hollywood spending hundreds of millions of $ making Lord of the Rings movies there.

If you don't like investment, you'll like disinvestment from capital leaving where it's not wanted even less.
