Kean lived in Russia for 28 years with three Russian women. He knows the country backwards and forwards in ways you and I never will.

reporting Ukrainian war crimes: You haven't heard because Ukraine didn't invade anyone. But Russia invaded Ukraine. Again, you're searching for bothside-ist moral symmetry where there isn't any.

Ukraine hasn't bombed thousands of schools, clinics, hospitals, theaters, grain storage facilities, opera houses in Russia.

POWs: Ukraine allows Red Cross visits. Russia doesn't. There are no Ukrainian filtration camps with torture rooms. No Russian art museums have been looted by Ukrainians. Ukrainian "pets in the press" haven't reported such events because they haven't happened. Blaming media bias on not hearing a dog that didn't bark is journalistic malpractice on your part.

Your link says:

"“Asked to compare the scale of the abuses by both sides, Bogner said the mistreatment of Ukrainian prisoners by Russians was "fairly systematic" whereas she said it was "not systematic" for Ukraine to mistreat Russian soldiers.”

The documentary evidence here says Russian war crimes are systematic:

Compared to the US treatment of prisoners in Vietnam and early in the Iraq war, the Ukrainians are virtuous boy scouts.
