Just another German who thinks he, and not Jews, decide Jewish identity. After nearly 4000 years of Jewish history, do you really expect any of us to listen to goyim like you.

I'm a proud Zionist, prosciutto and lobster-loving Jewish atheist whose identity is both ancient and modern, born into a tribe of tribes and a modern nation in the age of empire demolition that created over 100 new nation states. My grandfather was present at the demolition/creation in the Jewish Legion in Palestine in 1918. The wave of pogroms he lived through in Kishinev in 1903 and Ukraine and rescued my grandmother from in December 1920 are proof enough that Jews need a state and have as much of a right to sovereignty as any other nation. What my grandparents lived through is proof enough that Jews need a state more than Catalans, Kurds, Basques, Corsicans, Sardi, Siciliani, Sami, Galegos, etc.
