It's a metaphorical and rhetorical ghetto that says:

1. Never let Israel win.

2. Never leave Jewish sovereignty as unquestioned as other sovereignties (UK, Italy, US, German, French, etc).

3. As with Ukraine, put Israel in the front line in the fight against the Russia/Iran/Hamas/Hizbullah/Houthi/Syria/DPRK Axis of Extermination, but never with enough support to achieve a real victory.

4. Play the bothsidesism westsplain it away game with both peoples' narratives even though one is clearly history-denying fantasy, like Japanese Bushido and the American South's Lost Cause mythology.

The end result is the same as when a high ranking RAF officer complained about "these wailing Jews" in 1944 when they pressured him to allow volunteer Polish pilots based in recently liberated Puglia, Italy to bomb the rail lines leading to Auschwitz (from Martin Gilbert's Auschwitz and the Allies).
