i wasn't aware that several thousand Greek commandos and opportunistic civilians on motorcycles, paragliders and boats had on April 5, 1941 breached German border posts to murder and torture German civilians, necrophilically rape German women, loot and burn German border villages, attacked the German Wagner festival at Bayreuth and burn alive German babies and children.

I was also unaware that Greek guerrillas had said that all airdropped Allied aid was for resistance fighters and that the civilians it was intended for would get only what was left over (see Moussa Abu Marzouk, Hamas' political wing leader after Hamas killed a boy trying to get food aid for his family: "the aid that enters Gaza must be distributed to the fighters. What's left will go to the people. The attempt by some residents to take the aid, like what happened today in Rafah, will be fought with full force. The people must give everything for the resistance. They shouldn't steal the fighters' food.")

I was also unaware that Greek terrorists demanding the destruction of the German state and based in France, Poland and Denmark had since 1923 been firing rockets into Germany and sending suicide bombers to Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg to blow up buses, restaurants and the Hofbrauhaus.

I was also unaware that the entire League of Nations' financed educational system in Greece had been teaching Greek children to martyr themselves in the service of Greek Orthodoxy to work for the extermination of all Germans worldwide, including 50 million German Americans.

I was also unaware that the Greek refugees from Anatolia and Smyrna were kept in refugee camps, denied citizenship, professional licenses and education and that their children, uniquely, inherited refugee status.

And I wasn’t aware that the Luftwaffe would drop millions of leaflets, make tens of thousands of phone calls and use roof knocks to warn Greek civilians to evacuate before bombings.

But please enlighten me.
