I own some CHF through NVS and ROG shares, DK through NVO shares, GBP through some UK stocks. I'm long $ because the long term growth differential between the USA and the EU is structural.
And REITs and preferred shares are more developed in the USA and Canada.
Also, shorting puts is easier in US markets.
I have no particular view on the Swiss economy, though the Credit Suisse buyout deal shows how Switzerland is no stranger to institutional dysfunction.
