I didn’t dispute your argument that the USA is a plutocrat’s plantation and the world’s largest banana republic run by Big Pharma/Finance/Ag/Sports/Oil/Tech oligopolies whose economy has a gini coefficient is the same as in 1900 (.48 vs .36 in 1967). Again, there’s lots of evidence on your side, if you know where to find it instead of publishing inaccuracies. This is the most basic journalistic and scholarly best practice.

You didn’t respond to what I wrote about simple facts: you claimed the US$ had cratered. This was simply inaccurate. If you inaccurately cite a falling $ to support your argument, you undermine the argument. That a falling $ is irrelevant to American wage-earners doesn’t cancel sloppy journalistic malpractice.

The deregulation that triggered the corporate fraud epidemic didn’t happen under Bush the Younger, but under Clinton. You blamed Bush for Enron. That’s inaccuracy you fail to acknowledge.

In a partial democracy that has a first past the post winner take all election system you get to choose between two, not more parties. When it’s bad vs worse, bad gets my vote. Imagine a vengeful reelected Trump in 2025 to understand the simple point that which party wins makes a difference.

You’ll convince more people with fact-checked evidence. You’ll convince fewer people if your articles are filled with inaccuracies that people who care about evidence will notice.

The idea that all empires are the same is as wrong now as it was in 1941. In the history restaurant you can’t order what’s not on the menu (Anarchist Makhnovites defeat the Whites and the Bolsheviks, Trotsky defeats Stalin, Spanish anarcho-syndicalists win the civil war, Cuban anarcho-syndicalists take power instead of Castro, Sanders beats Trump in 2024, Melenchon beats Macron in the first round, Corbyn defeats BoJo, Navalny defeats Putin).
