Here are the demographics from the Deir Yassin wikipedia page:

"Khirbet Ayn al-Tut had a population of 39 in 1596, during early Ottoman rule.[4] In the 1922 British Mandate census, Deir Yassin had a population of 254.[34] Its population had increased from 429 in the 1931 census to 750 in 1948 and its houses from 91 in the former year to 144 in the latter.[20][35] Before its ravage in 1948, it is estimated that Deir Yassin had 610 Muslim inhabitants in the 1945 statistics."

Deir Yassin had nearly 40% fewer inhabitants in 1931 than Jews living in Hebron and 13% fewer in 1945 than Jews living in Hebron 16 years before at the time of the pogrom, which was preceded by no battle during a war fought by militias.

Nevertheless, 25% more Jews were killed in Hebron than Muslims killed in Deir Yassin (133/107).

I recall no apology from any Arab for 1300+ years of Dhimmitude Jim Crow-style terror and extortion perpetrated on Jews and Christians. The Israeli government later apologized to King Abdullah for Deir Yassin.

The Israeli government later sank the Irgun ship Altalena, establishing the new state's monopoly over the use of force.

The PLO and later the PA are unable to establish this most basic characteristic of statehood, especially since the 2007 anti-Fatah coup in Gaza.

If you want a state, act like one.
