It’s official PA doctrine given to preachers of Friday sermons that killing Jews is a Muslim’s religious duty:

The PA Ministry of Religious Affairs posted guidelines for mosque preachers on Thursday instructing preachers on what content they should include in their Friday sermons. The most horrific part of the instructions was a quote from a Hadith (Islamic tradition attributed to Islam’s prophet Muhammad) that teaches that the End of Time, the Redemption of humanity, is contingent on Muslims killing and eventually exterminating all Jews:
“The Hour [of Resurrection] will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, and the rock or a tree will say: ‘Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him’; except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews.” — [PA Ministry of Religious Affairs, Facebook page, Oct. 18, 2023]
Following so close to the atrocities by Hamas, this PA religious message to Palestinians is first and foremost elevating the horrific massacre of nearly 1,200 Jews to constitute Islamic worship. In addition, it is a clear message that Allah/Islam wants Palestinians to leave their mosques after Friday prayers and set out to murder more Jews.”

No, the religious ruling is firm, valid, and present. Muhammad Hussein: “The land of Palestine is waqf (inalienable religious endowment in Islamic law). It must not be relinquished nor must any part of it be sold… It is the duty of the leaders of the [Islamic] nation and its peoples to liberate Palestine (i.e., all of Israel) and Jerusalem, to prevent the Judaization in it.” [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 23, 2015]
Muhammad Hussein also serves as Deputy Secretary-General and acting Secretary-General of the PLO Popular National Conference of Jerusalem. The Mufti used the term “fard ayn” which is a personal Islamic commandment incumbent on every Muslim to describe the seriousness of the obligation to wage Jihad.

The host of the same PA TV program, a female preacher, later seconded this, expressing happiness that “the killed Jews are in Hell” while dead Palestinian “Martyrs” are “in Paradise”:

Promising that Jews/Israelis will burn in Hell is very meaningful for Palestinians, since in Islam, the Fire of Hell is Allah’s ultimate everlasting and dreaded punishment, which is threatened repeatedly in the Quran and Islamic traditions: “And they will never leave of the Fire.” (Quran 2:167)
“Surely, those who disbelieve and did wrong; God will not forgive them, nor will He guide them to any way except the way of Hell, to dwell therein forever.” (Quran 4:168–169)
“They will long to leave the Fire, but never will they leave there from; and theirs will be a lasting torment.” (Quran 5:37)
“Surely, God has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire wherein they will abide for ever.” (Quran 33:64)
“And whosoever disobeys God and His Messenger, then surely, for him is the fire of Hell, he shall dwell therein forever.” (Quran 72:23)

The fact that 22-year-old Fatah member Asef Al-Rifa’i contracted cancer before his imprisonment and received chemotherapy in Israeli hospitals while incarcerated did not stop her from accusing Israel of responsibility for his death. Eichmann claimed that Al-Rifa’i was a victim of neglect:

PA TV’s Topic of the Day interviewed Abbas Zaki, member of Fatah’s Central Committee, about the anniversary of Abu Iyad’s assassination. Zaki also spoke about historic ties between Christianity and Islam.
Abbas Zaki: “This is what is written in the Quran. That we are the nation of Ribat (religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic), the nation of Jihad. All the world’s Christians — who are now running after Israel — all of them know that Jesus was a Palestinian and that the Church of the Resurrection (i.e., the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem) and the Gethsemane Church are Palestinian. And praying Muslims didn’t pray until after Muhammad made the Night Journey from the Sacred Mosque (in Mecca) to the Distant Mosque (Al-Aqsa, in Arabic) and ascended to heaven and descended and prayed with the prophets. And we and the Christians [are bound by] the Pact of Omar, and the time has come for Muslims to wake up. They have no prayer if they abandon Jerusalem.”
Note: The Pact of Omar was a seventh century treaty between Muslims and Christians that gave some degree of religious freedom to Christians and Jews as Dhimmis, as long as they abided by certain laws and restrictions.
