From 2012-18 I gave my RBS and Erasmus students exactly the kind of education in critical thinking and empirical skepticism that I'd received a generation before. No online course could replace it nor will it ever replace in person prof to student relationships that take time and trust to build. Try taking an online ski instruction course without actually skiing. It doesn't mean that when you're finally at the top of the mountain you'll be able to ski without falling multiple times all the way down.
