Dunn is a direct descendant of the Soviets' useful idiots and the CPUSA slogan "don't fight the imperialist war" from 1939 to June 23, 1941. He just can't get down the idea of a geopolitical setup that makes the American empire look good by comparison and keeps writing "I vote none of the above" that isn't on the ballot.

There's also the hubris of thinking his therapeutic deescalation negotiation skill set is ahistorically applicable to all situations; that there are situations that present no alternative to fighting: the Warsaw Ghetto in April 1943, Warsaw in August 1944, the Rape of Nanjing 1937-38, Britain the summer of 1940, the USA 1861-65, the Philippines 1942, Israel 1948 and 1967 ("the only Jews left alive will be good swimmers"--Nasser).

The Soviets' useful idiots ended up in the same place as Hitler handshaking Lindbergh and the rabid anti-semite "don't fight the Jews' war" Father Coughlin.

From what I've seen of Dunn's view of capitalism, he has no financial skin in this game.
