Booking.com and Kayak list apartament and charge commission to the owners, not the guests. The filters on the sites are also better.
I own an apartment in the Pamporovo, Bulgaria ski area and get most guests from Booking.com through TravelNest.
I used to use Airbnb a lot, but not much anymore.
