Being Jewish I have a good nose for Nazis. The Azov battalion in Azovstal was in large part financed by a Ukrainian Jewish oligarch, Igor Kolomoisky, who also financed part of Zelensky's campaign. Among Azov's members in Mariupol are 40 Jews. Azov was formed in 2014 by a motley mixture of bikers, football hooligans and lawyers, some of whom were inspired by Nazi or fascist ideology. In 2019 fascist parties in Ukraine got 2% of the vote. In the US, a fascist president got 48% and incited an insurrection. Which country is more fascist?

Since the Muscovite conquest of Novgorod in 1478 border encroachment is a Russian specialty. Russia is a land-based colonial empire built on commodity extraction--read theft--from the lands of its subjugated peoples whose only remaining route to becoming a normal country is breakup to break its centuries old resource curse that has enserfed the Russian people and the peoples on its periphery.
