Because of Iraq War 2, like the French in 1940, you're fighting the last war. This one is different.

So Ukraine and Russia are equally wrong?

Other examples of this whataboutist logic of moral equivalence of all sides equally wrong:

Japan vs Dutch, the UK, French in SE Asia

South vs North Korea in 1950-53.

India vs Pakistan, 1971.

Serbia vs Kosovo and NATO in 1999.

Russia vs Georgia in 2008.

Would you also abolish NATO's Article 5 that commits it to the defense of the Baltic States?

Not to take a side against genocidal aggression is taking the side of the aggressor. You're indulging in the luxury of false neutrality.
