After 1700 years of Christian and then Muslim apartheid, extortion, pogroms, expulsions and genocides, Jewish sovereignty is non-negotiable. As Golda Meir said, we're done having our fate decided by others. Full stop, period. Get over it.

In 1937 (5% of the land for a Jewish state), 1945 (5% of the land for Jews), 1947 (56% of 22% for Jews), 1967, 1979, 2000 and 2008 (94% of the West Bank and Gaza and an East Jerusalem capital) the "tactical reasons" invented nationality called Palestinians (by Arafat's and Mohsen's own words) had a chance to share the land and said no, we accept nothing less than Muslim supremacy restoration and will wage an endless War of Return to get it in order to wash away the shame and humiliation of 1948-49's defeat. In 2005 when Israel left Gaza, they chose not to build a Mediterrenean Dubai and preferred a jihadi death cult to build their own version of Beirut 1975-90.

They have a choice: statehood or return. They can't have both. Since 1947 they've consistently chosen return over statehood. Choices have consequences.
