1. I'm not the author of the list of 13 centuries of Muslim supremacist violence against Jewish dhimmis. Ksantini is.
2. As an undergraduate I studied the Jews under Islam in 1975, the Jews of medieval Spain (both the Muslim and Christian sides, 1976). As a graduate student at UCLA (1979-86) I studied medieval social and economic history as part of a specialization in Spanish history. Sources included Baer, Goitein, Hitti, Bernard Lewis, Ibn Khaldun and many others then and later on, such as Max Rodenbeck's Cairo: the City Victorious.

When I owned an ad agency producing photography and brochures for the tourism industry I had two Arab prime ministers as clients: Bahrain (The Royal Meridien Hotel) and Qatar (the Sheraton Doha now housing Hamas' billionaire leaders) from 1996-2002.
I also did a brochure in five languages for a very unusual Yemeni client in 1998: Bazara Tours and Travel, owned by a gentleman who sent his daughter to study at the London School of Economics alone.
